GRAHAM : GOOD POINT. Many people do not realise paua used to live in the inter tidal like big limpets. They were large and they were often so crowded they were touching each other. Crays once lived in tide pools too. This is the shifting base line problem: each generation accepts what they experience as 'normal' and we lose awareness of how much we are losing. And then., the resolve to dosomething about it. It is the same with the growing bird silence in our forests, that concerns an and me .
