If you mean pack horse, yes but only occasionally compared with J. edwardsi
Dr Alison MacDiarmid caught the last one I saw on the North eastern side of Gt Barrier. Measured and returned as part of the rocky reef diversity study. I saw another at the Mokos in January. [ thanks, any news of packies is interesting but I meant the juvenile stages that are green. I used to see nests of them at Te Arai Point and along the Toots coast. Dave Abbot says he has seen one of them in Ngunguru bay- wade]
