Wade heres the details on the tagged Packhorse crays. Female Tagged on 24/11/2003 caught and released as part of a tagging project in 36m at Te Tapuwae o Rongokako Marine Reserve. Tail width 67.8mm Carapace length 124.7mm. Was recaptured by commercial fisherman 453 days later at East Cape distance travelled straight line is 105km. She was released with another packy which was tagged also and was recaptured with another tagged packy so we assumed it is its buddy as we always see them in pairs or 3's.Unfortunately the commercial fisher didn't record the 2nd number.
