BBC Natural history has just completed a major shoot at the PK re-enacting a whale boat sequence for a drama doco about the whaling ship Essex, origin of the Moby Dick story.
Conditions out there have been at their sparkling best. On the edge of the Reserve out in open water a nice school of moderate sized kingies checked them out. Pre total closure we wld get excited if we saw a group of six fish like those, come by. I believe the PK will become a giant FAD attracting game fish to the region.
