Hands Off Mantas

On the Kona coast of the big isle of Hawaii divers watch mantas feeding at night on plankton around wharf lights. There was a period when divers were stroking them. Then patches of pink appeared on the skin of the mantas. Contact was causing harm to their skin. 130 of the Kona mantas have been identified and named. One dates back to 1979. I mention all this because mantas at the PK are getting friendlier and closer. ID pix would be worthwhile.
