Yesterday Jan and saw a good sized manta feeding between the Knights and Pinnacles. Around a dozen have been sighted between the coast and the PK of recent. Each yr mantas sem to be increasing in this area. It did no show alarm at the boat approach. Mantas may become more accepting of this if boat operators are thoughtful . They are pretty smart creatures and have adapted readily to man in many parts of the world. I maintain a file of manta encounter yarns.
