I had a cray dive out from Whananaki last weekend. Just as I descended, to about 15-16 m, I was quite amazed to find myself in a large school of sweep and blue maumau (at least a couple of hundred of them). It was almost a bit of a PK moment, which of course isn't much further away. Boats fishing in deeper water in the same area (60 m+) encountered several makos and blue sharks.
