I spent the weekend cruising around in the Bay of Islands. Saturday also some kayaking and swimming. Espesially Sunday was absolutely stunning where the bay showed off at its very best. The weather was beautiful, with the water calm and clear. We saw four different lots of bottlenose dolphins feeding on something, accompanied by gannets from the air. We also saw a group of juvenile hammerhead sharks (from the boat), about 8 or 9 of them. From what I understand there are a couple of nurseries in the area. We also had a good look around the Black Rocks, which were very inviting for a dive. Unfortunately we didn't have any scuba gear onboard, so will have to come back to explore those walls. Anyone here who has dived there?
