THAT ACCOUNT IS INCREDIBLE; AMAZING; MIND-BLOWING!!!! For four days in Antarctic waters Paul Nicklen meets this 12 foot leopard seal with a head bigger than a brown bear. It has huge, flesh tearing fangs. After initially mouthing his camera housing and hand [he has pix of the mouth interior!] in what must be seen as a trust gesture, it befriends him and feeds him penguins, even showing him how to eat them. It treats his dome port camera as if it were his mouth: "Every photographer's dream," says Paul.
